Microvision, Inc. Announces Public Offering of Common Stock and Warrants

REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Microvision, Inc. (NASDAQ: MVIS), a global leader in light scanning technologies, announced today it has priced a public offering of approximately 11.2 million shares of its common stock and warrants to purchase approximately 6.7 million shares of its common stock at a price of $2.33 per unit, which represents a 12.5% discount to the 10-day volume weighted average closing bid price. Gross proceeds before placement agent fees and offering expenses are expected to be approximately $26 million and will be used for general corporate purposes. The offering is expected to close on July 23, 2008, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

The placement agents for the offering are FTN Midwest Securities Corp and Craig-Hallum Capital Group.

A shelf registration on Form S-3 relating to these securities was previously filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission and was declared effective on May 7, 2007.
